Eileen Gormley is half of Evie Hunter, Ireland’s best-selling erotica author. She claims she writes the plot while her co-writer, Caroline McCall writes the dirty bits, but everyone who has met her knows better.
Between them, Eileen and Caroline have written The Pleasures of Winter, The Pleasures of Summer, The Pleasures of Autumn, The Pleasures of Spring, A Touch of Winter, A Touch of Summer, A Touch of Autumn, A Touch of Spring and A Touch of Passion.
They have also written Angels, Demons and Doms, the BDSM novella which started it all, and caught the attention of Penguin Ireland, prompting them to ask the two Irishwomen to write a hot sexy novel to compete with 50 Shades of Grey.
Eileen, a former journalist, started writing fiction in 2010 when she joined a writing class in UCD. She wrote a story about a pink-haired space vampire with a taste for sexy humans, and was more astonished than anyone when Don’t Feed the Fairies, reached the quarter-finals of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award competition.
That was the start of an addiction that won’t let go, and takes her from planets in outer space, to the wilds of the Rain forest to Regency London and Dublin.
